December Glossybox!

I know this post is way overdue as I received this box 2 weeks ago or so, but I have been so busy working all day and getting all my Christmas shopping done.

I was working all of last week so on most days, I had to go to town after work to get my family some presents. I still had 2 presents to wrap up on Christmas eve! Talk about last minute!
But it all went well and I had a good Christmas with my family.

Okay, lets get on to the goodies!

The theme for this month's box was all things Christmasy! You can immediately tell by the different coloured box that we got this month. A lovely sleek silver box. I love their boxes! They are so strong and good quality. I have used some for storing some make up products and my nail varnishes :)

It looks so good and tastey. You can really sense the Christmas feel to these boxes with the silver look and the decorations of the paper inside with the silver stars. I love stars, so I thought this looked so pretty.
Instead of getting a card stating all the products, it came with a big A3 sized (I think) paper that was folded up. It has more information inside it with discount codes, information on the themed box and bigger images of the products and their description. I wonder if this is the new layout not or if it's just for this month, we shall see!

Let's get started on the products that came in this month's box!

Seche Nail Lacquer
(shade: Debutant)

Full Size Price: £9.95 for 14ml

I am happy to say that this is a good start! I love this nail polish. The colour is so pretty and cute! It's a baby pink with silver glitter/shimmers. So glad I got this in my box. And in a full size! Such a gorgeous shade of pink.

Milk_Shake
Conditioning Whipped Cream

Full Size: 200ml - £14.79

Hmmm, by the name of this product, it sounds like something you would want to eat with your strawberries! But no, it's a leave in conditioner for your hair and treats, protects and strengthens your hair. Sounds lovely!

I got the 100ml size sample in my box, which is more than enough to get a good feel for the product. I have not heard of this brand yet, but will definitely give this a go! Just need to stop being lazy on my hair care and skin care regimes!

Sleek Makeup
True Colour Lipstick

Full Size: £4.99

One word for this is... WOW! The colour of this lipstick is so rich and out there. But in a good way. You would need to be brave enough to wear this as it is a dark red. Reminds me of vampire-ish themed lip stick. Maybe I could wear a light lip gloss over it to even out the colour. You can probably tell that I am not so brave with lip sticks. I always go for the safe options like, pinks. Other than that, the colour is pretty and it does glide on very well on the lips.

Sebamed
Night Intensive Cream

Full Size: £9.99

Yet another that I have not heard about. That's the joy of beauty boxes. Discovering different brands that you would not have heard about otherwise. This brand has been established as one of the leading skincare brands for sensitive skin. It must be good then! :)

Lemon
By: Mary Greenwell

Full Size: 100ml - £90

A perfume sample from Mary Greenwell's perfume - Lemon. Not a fragrance that I would go for, but it's not that bad. The smell has a mixture of lemon and also a tint of citrus. But mostly, it smells almost like soap for some reason. Maybe it's just me???

Ok, there are the 5 products!

However, Glossybox was kind enough to throw in an extra product!

Glossybox
Glossy Pink Blush

This blush is quite pigmented, so it can be easily blended into the skin for a soft pink tone for the cheeks!

Merry Boxing Day!

Hey everyone!

I bet you all are in town enjoying the Boxing Day sales! I'm giving it a miss this year. I know, I know, I am probably missing out on some good deals :(

At the moment, I am still in my pyjamas and chilling out with my 2 brothers and little niece and my parents. We are all off work today, so we all just relaxing.

Just a little post to say that I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas day yesterday with your family and loved ones.

This is a picture that I took at my Aunty's place where she had this candle on the table. Looked really nice so I had to sneak a little snap ;)

When I think of Christmas day, I think of family time and presents! How did you all spend your Christmas day?

I went to my Aunty's place and had a family gathering! Had such a lovely lunch and got to spend some time with the family that I don't get to see so often during the year.
I really wanted to try out a Christmas nail art design but I didn't have time so I just went for a red and glitter look for the occasion!

Let me know how your Christmas went and if you got any good bargains on the Boxing Day sales! :D

I'm Baaaaack! (holiday photo's)

Hello there you lovely, lovely bunch!
I am finally back on the blogging spree after my 3 week holiday to my home, Cape Town, South Africa! That's why I was a little quiet. But I'm back now.

Arrived on Wednesday the 12th December. Right on time for my little niece's birthday, she turned 2 years young! She is so precious!

I immediately felt the change of climate when I got back to the airport and stepped foot outside Heathrow! Was very cold, my breath looked like I was smoking! So it was quiet funny thinking of how a day before I was in nice sunny weather back home then come back to the frosty coldness.
I had a great holiday! I had such an awesome time with my friends and family! Making new memories and having fun. Seeing my home again is always good.
Below are some pictures from my holiday and a little peak as to how beautiful Cape Town is.

This was the outfit I wore for my cousins wedding that was on the 24th of November. It was such a nice occasion spending it with my whole family. It was a rare occasion when most of the family were all together in the same place because some family is there and some are here in England as well. Had a ball of a time! My Dad also enjoyed it and was dancing around so much that he even danced with me, which was a first! :D

The weather was so nice and sunny. Went to the beach a few times to. I love capturing photo's like this with a nice beach scenery and the sun glistening on the water!

This is where me and some family went to a Lion Park. This was a very hot day!

This is me and my sister cousin! I call her my sister cousin because we are just like sisters and are very close. She also has a beauty blog which you can check out HERE if you wish :)

I love my home! Had an awesome holiday. Enjoyed spending it with my family and friends.

Where would you all love to go on holiday to? And what has been your favourite holiday so far?

I guess I shall be awaiting the snow now here in the UK!

Hope you enjoyed reading about my holiday. More blog posts coming up soon soon!
